Role description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing comprehensive test strategies, and ensuring software quality across the development lifecycle.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can contribute effectively to both automation and manual testing activities, while also bringing exposure to emerging AI-driven testing approaches.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of:
- Test Planning
- Test Execution
- Defect Management
- Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Quality Assurance best practices

- Experience in API testing and end-to-end test automation.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA deliverables.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Design robust, reusable, and scalable automation frameworks.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Identify, track, and manage software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.




- Review requirements and provide test coverage recommendations.
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership when required.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with Generative AI and its applications in software testing.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI and Intelligent Test Automation concepts.
- Exposure to:
- AI-driven test case generation
- Test optimisation techniques
- Autonomous testing solutions
- AI-assisted quality engineering practices

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
