# SEO Specialist

### About the Role

We are looking for an experienced **SEO Specialist** to join our team in Kannur. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SEO and a proven understanding of how to improve organic rankings, traffic, visibility, and leads.

**This is not a fresher position.** Candidates must have practical experience managing SEO campaigns and working with real websites.

### Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic.

* Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search-intent analysis.

* Perform technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.

* Optimize website content, titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, URLs, and other on-page elements.

* Conduct regular technical SEO audits and identify website issues.

* Manage and improve Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 performance.

* Build and execute quality link-building and off-page SEO strategies.

* Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and other SEO KPIs.

* Identify SEO opportunities based on search trends and competitor performance.

* Work closely with content and web development teams to implement SEO recommendations.

* Optimize WordPress websites for search performance.

* Prepare regular SEO reports and provide actionable recommendations.

* Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and industry trends.

### Requirements

* **Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience.**





* Proven experience working on real SEO projects/websites.

* Strong knowledge of Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, and Local SEO.

* Good understanding of Google Search Console and GA4.

* Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Keyword Planner, or similar tools.

* Experience with WordPress and basic understanding of HTML/CSS is an advantage.

* Ability to analyze SEO data and turn it into actionable strategies.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Valuable English communication and reporting skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple SEO projects.

### Preferred

* Experience handling SEO campaigns for competitive industries.

* Proven record of increasing organic traffic, rankings, or leads.

* Experience with Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.

* Experience with international or GCC SEO is an advantage.

### Relocation

**This position is based in Kannur, Kerala. Candidates currently outside Kannur must be willing to relocate and work full-time from our Kannur office.**
