Semarchy MDM Implementation Consultant (Snowflake)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Semarchy MDM Implementation Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Semarchy xDM, xDI, Snowflake, MDM, data quality, and data governance. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting a Master Data Management solution running natively on Snowflake.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with match/merge, survivorship, golden record management, stewardship workflows, data quality rules, Snowflake SQL, and integration pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and customize Semarchy xDM data models, entities, views, match/merge rules, survivorship rules, and validation workflows.
- Implement MDM solutions for domains such as Customer, Supplier, Product, and Item Master.
- Build and maintain Semarchy xDI integration jobs to load, cleanse, transform, and synchronize data between Snowflake and source/target systems.
- Deploy and configure Semarchy xDM as a Snowflake Native App, including roles, warehouses, permissions, and data-sharing setup.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake SQL, including tables, views, stored procedures, tasks, and streams.
- Implement data quality, deduplication, hierarchy, relationship management, and golden record processes.
- Work with business stakeholders, data stewards, and governance teams to translate business rules into MDM configurations.
- Support UAT, defect resolution, performance tuning, production deployment, and go-live activities.
- Prepare data models, mapping documents,



technical specifications, operational runbooks, and implementation documentation.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate MDM outputs with the broader Snowflake data platform.

Required Skills

- 6–8 years of overall Data/MDM/Data Integration experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Semarchy xDM experience.
- Strong experience with Semarchy xDI or similar ETL/ELT integration tools.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.

- Experience with Snowflake roles, warehouses, tasks, streams, stored procedures, and data sharing.

- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience deploying Semarchy xDM as a Snowflake Native App.
- Experience in Supplier, Procurement, Product, Customer, or Item Master domains.
- Exposure to Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake Tasks/Streams, or similar modern data tools.
- Semarchy certification or formal MDM/Data Governance training.
- Previous consulting or contract-based MDM implementation experience.
