Purchase Executive – Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to handle procurement activities for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in purchase and procurement within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial equipment, or similar environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchase activities for raw materials, components, consumables, spares and other materials required for manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations based on price, quality and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Engineering and Accounts teams for purchase requirements.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering company.
- Experience in purchasing industrial, electrical,



mechanical or engineering components will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of vendor development, quotation comparison and price negotiation.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/software used for purchase activities.
- Ability to understand material requirements and technical specifications.
- Candidates with experience in industrial equipment, engineering products, electrical components, fabrication or machinery manufacturing will be preferred.
