As we continue to expand across India, we are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical sales leader to help shape our commercial strategy and build a high-performing sales organization.
About the Role
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional who has successfully built, coached, and scaled field sales teams.
You will work directly with senior management to strengthen our sales systems, improve field execution, mentor Territory Managers, expand market presence, and drive sustainable business growth. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires significant field involvement rather than purely office-based management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales growth strategies
- Build scalable sales systems and SOPs
- Coach and mentor Territory Managers through regular field visits
- Improve doctor coverage, prescription generation, and territory productivity
- Develop KPIs and performance review systems
- Build relationships with distributors, hospitals, stockists, and healthcare professionals
- Support new product launches and market expansion
- Improve collections and commercial discipline
- Present market insights and recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- 10–20+ years in Pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing
- Proven experience leading field sales teams
- Solid understanding of ethical pharmaceutical promotion
- Experience with distributor and channel management
- Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
