Role Overview

Prepare and execute high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) diagnostic procedures while strict patient safety standards, specialized screening, and optimal image capture protocols are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Preparation & Safety Screening: Perform mandatory MRI safety screenings (checking for metallic implants, pacemakers, or foreign objects), explain scan procedures to reduce patient anxiety, and position patients accurately using appropriate coils.
- Scan Execution & Protocol Adjustment: Operate advanced MRI scanners, selecting and adjusting imaging protocols in real time as instructed by radiologists to capture clear diagnostic images.
- Image Processing & PACS Integration: Review scanned images for technical quality and seamlessly transfer digital image datasets to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for radiologist evaluation.
- Equipment Maintenance & Calibration: Perform daily calibration checks, quality control tests, and routine maintenance logs, reporting machine performance issues or cryogen level alerts immediately.
- Safety & Infection Control: Maintain a secure magnetic field environment (Zone I through IV management)



and enforce strict infection control procedures for coils, tables, and imaging accessories.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Diploma or B.Sc in Medical Imaging Technology, Radiography, or an equivalent allied health discipline.
- Experience: 1–5 years of hands-on technical experience operating modern high-field MRI scanners in a hospital or diagnostic setting.
- Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, tissue contrast manipulation, and pulse sequences.
- Rigorous understanding of MRI safety protocols and bio-effects.
- Strong communication skills and patient-handling ability under demanding workflows.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
