Gilco Global is looking for Junior Field Technicians – Service & Maintenance for our Gurugram and Chandigarh operations.

We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in the lift/elevator industry, with exposure to preventive maintenance, breakdown attendance and basic troubleshooting of elevators.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance of lifts/elevators at assigned sites.
- Attend breakdown calls and assist in identifying and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults.
- Perform routine inspection of lift components, safety devices and operating systems.
- Check and maintain doors, controllers, drives, motors, brakes, switches and other lift components.
- Identify recurring faults and promptly escalate technical issues requiring senior support.
- Ensure lifts are maintained in safe and reliable operating condition.
- Follow prescribed maintenance schedules, checklists and service procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, breakdown calls, repairs and site observations.
- Coordinate professionally with customers,



site representatives and the internal Service team.
- Strictly follow PPE and all prescribed safety procedures while working at site.
- Ensure proper handling and upkeep of tools, testing equipment and company assets.
- Be available for field travel and breakdown support as required.

Candidate Profile

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical trade preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience specifically in the lift/elevator industry is mandatory.
- Hands-on exposure to lift service, preventive maintenance and breakdown activities.
- Basic knowledge of lift electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to diagnose basic faults and understand wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
- Safety-conscious, disciplined and comfortable working independently at customer sites.
- Positive communication and reporting discipline.
- Candidates available to join at short notice will be preferred.
