Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bakery Chef to join our team at Neptune Trion, Sarabhai Campus, Vadodara.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bakery and confectionery preparation and be skilled in making a variety of cakes, chocolates, sandwiches, pastries, breads, and other bakery/café items.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, breads, and bakery products.
Prepare and handle chocolates and chocolate-based products.
Prepare different varieties of sandwiches and savoury café items.
Handle cake preparation, decoration, frosting, and finishing.
Maintain consistent taste, quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, bakery equipment, and work area.
Monitor ingredient usage and minimize wastage.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist in developing new bakery products and menu items when required.
Requirements
Prior experience in a bakery, café, pastry shop, or confectionery kitchen is required.
Good knowledge of cakes, chocolates, sandwiches, breads, pastries, and bakery products.
Knowledge of cake decoration, frosting, and basic confectionery techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen environment.
Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Creative, responsible, and quality-focused attitude.
Candidates with relevant bakery experience will be preferred.
