As part of our expansion and growth, we are seeking an experienced Operation Manager to oversee our Operation functions and help us maintain and enhance our standards.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Additional technical certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in production supervision, manpower handling, and process monitoring is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor machine operations and ensure smooth production flow.
- Allocate manpower effectively and maintain workforce discipline.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production procedures.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for uninterrupted production.
- Monitor production efficiency, downtime, and rejection levels.
- Maintain production records, reports,
and shift handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping (5S), and company policies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
- Train and guide operators on production processes and safety practices.
- Ensure proper utilization of machines, tools, and materials.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of production processes and shop-floor management.
- Ability to lead and motivate production teams.
- Knowledge of quality control and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, ERP preferred).
- Good communication and reporting skills.
