About the role Own the visual storytelling for ResQBag's short-form content — reels, ads, outlet features, and campaign videos that make food rescue feel like a daily neighbourhood habit, not a discount hack.

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts) from raw footage — outlet visits, founder content, user testimonials, campaign creatives
- Add captions, motion graphics, sound design, and brand-consistent visual treatment
- Work with the content/social team on shot lists and turnaround for time-sensitive posts
- Maintain a content library and templates for faster future turnaround
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips

Requirements

- Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- A portfolio/reel showing prior edits (student or freelance work fine)
- Understands pacing and hooks for Instagram/YouTube algorithms
- Rapid turnaround — comfortable with same-day edits when needed

Nice to have

- Basic shooting skills (can film on a phone gimbal when needed)
- Motion graphics (After Effects) experience
