What is your role
This role involves procuring competitive freight rates, maintaining strong relationships with carriers, and ensuring space availability with the best pricing across air and sea shipments. It also requires managing pricing databases, staying updated on market changes and trade lane services, and offering the most effective logistics solutions to customers.
Job responsibilities:
- Procure competitive freight rates directly from major airlines, shipping lines, NVOCCs, and consolidators.
- Maintain strong industry relationships to ensure space availability and best possible pricing across air and sea modes.
- Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and related documentation.
- Must have detailed knowledge of shipping lines/airlines operating on specific trade lines, so as to offer the best solutions to our customers
- Have up to date market information on current services, any new updates on special charges, any services which have been withdrawn etc
What are we seeking for:

- Should be fluent in English & respective local language.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with basic budgeting and vendor management
- Good communication and coordination ability
- Knowledge of Logy-sis or any accounting software.
Experience – 2-3 years
Salary – 5 LPA
Education Qualification: Graduate preferable
