Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor induction furnace for cast iron melting.
- Handle raw material charging and maintain proper charge mix.
- Monitor melting temperature, heat time and furnace parameters.
- Check and maintain required chemical composition of molten metal.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production teams for heat approval.
- Maintain heat-wise melting and production records.
- Ensure proper handling of molten metal and follow safety procedures.
- Minimize material wastage, slag formation and melting losses.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of cast iron melting and foundry processes.
- Basic knowledge of spectrometer/chemical analysis.
- Good understanding of furnace operation and safety practices.
- Ability to work in shifts.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
