Position: Customer Engineer / Senior Customer Engineer
Department: Existing Installation Direct
Location: Central Line, Mumbai
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute periodic maintenance of elevator installations as per agreed timelines and safety/quality standards.
- Attend breakdowns/call-backs and provide timely resolution and feedback.
- Troubleshoot elevator issues independently and ensure minimum downtime.
- Plan jobs and supervise subcontractor technicians for timely completion.
- Identify and propose spare-parts requirements/sales wherever required.
- Coordinate with the FSB for spares and components.
- Handle customers and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 4–10 years in the Elevator Service/Maintenance industry.
- For Senior Customer Engineer,
preferably 6+ years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or ITI.
- Experience in large/high-rise elevator projects will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown/call-back handling and independent troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of drive types, safety circuits, governor functionality, battery systems and electrical circuit/drawing reading.
- Positive customer-handling and safety-compliance skills.
- Industry: Elevator industry candidates only (KONE, TKE, Otis, Johnson, Fujitec, Mitsubishi, Eros, Escon, City, etc.).
