SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER – URGENT HIRING

A reputed Garments Manufacturing Company is looking for a talented, creative, and experienced Senior Fashion Designer with strong expertise in Kids-Wear. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, garment construction, and the overall product development process.

Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and interview performance.

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Candidates with strong experience specifically in Kids-Wear Fashion Design will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative and commercially viable designs for Kids-Wear collections.
- Research current fashion trends, colours, prints, patterns, silhouettes, and styles suitable for children.
- Create new design concepts according to market requirements and company specifications.
- Select appropriate fabrics, colours, trims, accessories, prints, and embellishments for different designs.
- Maintain valuable working knowledge of different types of fabrics and their suitability for kids' garments.
- Coordinate with the production and merchandising teams during product development.
- Modify designs based on samples, customer requirements, production feasibility, and market trends.
- Work on new collections and seasonal ranges.
- Prepare design references, colour combinations, fabric selections, and styling concepts.
- Follow garment construction and production requirements while developing designs.
- Review samples and provide necessary corrections or improvements.
- Ensure designs are practical, attractive,



comfortable, and suitable for children's wear.
- Stay updated with emerging fashion trends and competitor products.
- Coordinate with vendors, sampling teams, production staff, and other departments whenever required.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Fashion Designing.
- Relevant experience in Kids-Wear is essential/preferred.
- Strong understanding of garments and fashion design.
- Good working knowledge of fabrics and garment materials.
- Creative approach with an eye for colours, patterns, styles, and detailing.
- Understanding of garment construction and production processes.
- Ability to work according to deadlines and production requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a design and production team.

Preferred Skills

Candidates who have experience in Kids-Wear manufacturing, garment production, sampling, fabric selection, and collection development will have an added advantage.
