Position: M365 Security & Endpoint EngineerExperience: 5+ YearsRole: Managed IT Services / Microsoft Security & EndpointEmployment Type: Full-time (1 year contract - Renewable)Location: RemoteJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced M365 Security & Endpoint Engineer to manage Microsoft security, endpoint, identity, and cloud security platforms in an enterprise Managed IT Services environment. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Defender, Intune, Entra ID, threat hunting, incident response, and endpoint security.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor Microsoft Defender XDR, including Defender for Endpoint P2, Defender for Office 365 P2, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud Apps.Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for Windows endpoint enrollment, device configuration, compliance policies, security baselines, application deployment, and endpoint protection.Administer Microsoft Entra ID P2, including Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, identity governance, and privileged access controls.Monitor and investigate security incidents, alerts, vulnerabilities, and endpoint threats using the Microsoft security ecosystem.Perform advanced threat hunting using KQL, develop hunting queries, investigate suspicious activities, and identify indicators of compromise.Conduct attack simulations and security assessments to validate security controls and improve organizational security posture.Perform incident response, containment, remediation, and root-cause analysis for endpoint, identity, email, and cloud security incidents.Develop automation and administrative scripts using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.Support security policy implementation, hardening, compliance,



and continuous improvement initiatives.Manage security incidents and service requests in accordance with defined SLAs, ITIL processes, and managed service operations.Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, operational reports, and security recommendations.Coordinate with Microsoft, OEMs, security vendors, and customer IT/security teams for escalations and complex issues.Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft 365 security solutions.Expertise in Defender for Endpoint P2, Defender for Office 365 P2, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud Apps.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint management.Good understanding of Entra ID P2, Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, RBAC, and identity security.Proficiency in KQL and Advanced Hunting.Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.Knowledge of endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, security hardening, and incident response.Experience working in an enterprise or SLA-driven Managed Services environment is preferred.Certifications Required:SC-200 – Microsoft Security Operations AnalystMD-102 – Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Preferred:SC-300 – Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Added Advantage:AZ-500 – Azure Security Engineer Associate Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and security investigation skills.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex security and endpoint issues.Proactive approach to threat detection and security improvement.Strong customer-facing communication and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and effectively within a 24x7/SLA-driven managed services workplace.Interested candidates may send their resume to [email protected].
