Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesUpgrade Planning & Execution: Lead technical planning, perform pre-/post-upgrade tasks, and ensure system readiness.System Copy Planning: Define and execute system copy strategies for development, QA, and production environments.End-to-End Testing: Conduct regression testing, functional validation, and performance benchmarking after upgrade/system copy.Report Validation: Verify critical reports, dashboards, and queries for accuracy post-upgrade/system copy.Data Integrity Checks: Perform reconciliation and consistency checks across environments.Performance Benchmarking: Monitor and optimize query performance, cube loads, and ETL processes.Transport Management: Support transport requests and workplace synchronization during upgrade/copy.Documentation: Prepare technical documentation,



test scripts, and validation reports.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with BASIS, functional teams, and business users to ensure smooth execution.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in SAP BW (7.X/4.X or higher) including modeling, ETL, and reporting.Proficiency in ABAP debugging for issue resolution.Familiarity with SAP BO universe, Reports & publications (I.E. Nice to have)Experience in test planning and execution for large-scale upgrades.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Prior involvement in end-to-end upgrade projects with full testing cycles.
