Experience: 1 – 4 years
Qualifications:
B.Tech / M.Tech / M.E / B.E / M.Sc in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication (ECE), Information Technology (IT), or Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Patent Prosecution: Handle end-to-end patent prosecution matters, including reviewing and drafting responses to First Examination Reports (FER).
Drafting: Draft patent applications, claims, and specifications according to Indian and international patent office standards.
Technical & Legal Analysis:
Apply core domain expertise in engineering and computer science alongside fundamental knowledge of the Patent Act and patent laws.
Prosecution Strategy: Analyze technical disclosures and work on Indian or foreign patent prosecution frameworks.
Required Skills & Eligibility:
Core Legal Knowledge: Working knowledge of the Patent Act, patent law basics, and prosecution procedures.
Drafting Expertise: Prior exposure to or fundamental ability in drafting patent claims and technical specifications. Candidates with strong prosecution experience (Indian or Foreign) willing to transition into active drafting roles are encouraged to apply.
Domain Expertise: Solid grounding in engineering, technical subject matter, and software/hi-tech domain principles.
Competencies: Excellent academic record, strong analytical thinking, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
