Job Summary

AppsTek Corp is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Senior Consultant with 8–12 years of hands-on experience to join our growing Oracle Enterprise Applications practice.

This role is designed for a senior Oracle HCM professional who can understand customer HR challenges, lead consulting and discovery engagements, design practical Oracle HCM solutions, support pre-sales activities, and guide implementation teams through successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging directly with HR business leaders, HRIT stakeholders and client executives to understand business challenges, challenge existing processes, recommend Oracle best practices and translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion HCM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Consulting & Problem Solving

- Engage directly with customers to understand HR strategy, workforce challenges, process gaps and transformation priorities.
- Conduct current-state assessments and identify opportunities for process standardization, simplification and optimization.
- Translate HR business challenges into practical Oracle Fusion HCM solution options.
- Challenge requirements where appropriate and recommend Oracle standard capabilities and best practices.
- Define future-state HR processes and solution approaches aligned with business objectives.
- Help customers evaluate solution alternatives based on business value, complexity and implementation considerations.

Solutioning & Pre-Sales

- Partner with sales and account teams during prospect and customer engagements.
- Lead discovery sessions, solution workshops and requirements discussions.
- Develop solution concepts, scope assumptions, implementation approaches and roadmaps.
- Deliver compelling Oracle Fusion HCM demonstrations based on customer business scenarios.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, estimates and customer presentations.
- Communicate the business value and expected outcomes of proposed HCM solutions.

Oracle Fusion HCM Solution Architecture

- Design and guide end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM solutions.
- Perform enterprise structures, workforce structures and security-related setups.




- Lead functional solution design and configuration across key HCM modules:
- Core HR: Enterprise structures, workforce structures, person/employment management and position management.
- Absence Management: Accrual plans, qualification plans, absence recording and compliance rules.
- Payroll: Element entries, payroll definitions, salary basis, costing and statutory requirements.
- Talent Management: Goal Management, Performance Management, Talent Review and Succession Planning.
- Recruiting / ORC: Job requisitions, candidate selection, career sites and onboarding.

Workshops & Delivery Assurance

- Lead client discovery sessions, Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), solution workshops and UAT cycles.
- Review functional designs, configuration decisions and test scenarios.
- Prepare and review Functional Design Documents, configuration workbooks and user documentation.
- Guide implementation teams through complex functional issues.
- Support post-go-live stabilization, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Integrations, Reporting & Data

- Provide functional guidance to technical teams on HCM integrations, reporting and data migration.
- Work with teams using HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts and spreadsheets.
- Provide functional guidance on Fast Formulas, OTBI and BI Publisher reporting.
- Work with integration teams on Oracle and external system integrations.

Practice Development

- Contribute to building AppsTek's Oracle HCM consulting practice.
- Develop reusable solution patterns, templates, accelerators and assessment frameworks.
- Support creation of customer-facing solution collateral and demonstrations.
- Mentor HCM consultants and contribute to delivery methodologies and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to expand Oracle HCM capabilities within existing and new customer accounts.

Oracle Transformation & AI Activation

- Stay aware of Oracle's evolving automation,



analytics and AI capabilities relevant to HCM.
- Identify practical opportunities where automation or AI can improve selected HR processes and employee experiences.
- Support customer discussions around AI activation where there is a clear business use case.
- Collaborate with AppsTek's broader AI and technology teams when appropriate.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in Oracle HCM.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM implementations.
- Core HR expertise is mandatory.
- Strong expertise across at least 2–3 additional modules such as Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management or Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
- Proven experience in solution architecture, consulting and pre-sales solutioning.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes such as Hire-to-Retire, workforce management, payroll, talent and recruiting.
- Proven ability to understand customer business problems and translate them into practical Oracle solutions.
- Experience conducting client workshops, demonstrations and solution presentations.
- Robust technical-functional understanding of HDL, Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts and OTBI / BI Publisher.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with global HR implementations and statutory/compliance requirements.
- Experience working with US or global enterprise customers is preferred.
- Oracle Fusion HCM certification is preferred.
- Exposure to Oracle automation, analytics or AI capabilities is an advantage.
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities or other complex enterprise environments is preferred.
