Job Role: WLAN Test Engineer

Experience: 1 to 4 Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

- Perform WLAN/Wi-Fi testing and validation across IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards.
- Configure and validate Wi-Fi Access Points and wireless client devices.
- Execute functional, connectivity, interoperability, and network-level testing.
- Analyze packet captures and troubleshoot wireless/network issues using Wireshark.
- Use Linux OS and command-line tools for testing, debugging, and issue analysis.
- Validate networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, ARP, Routing, and Switching.
- Support Wi-Fi test automation and wireless validation activities.
- Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis,



and work with development teams for resolution.
- Document test results, defects, and validation findings.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1-4 years of experience in WLAN / Wi-Fi / Wireless Testing.
- Positive understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards.
- Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP networking.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and command-line tools.
- Experience using Wireshark for packet capture and protocol analysis.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi AP and wireless client configuration.
- Exposure to wireless test automation frameworks.
