Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Estimation Engineer– MEP to lead our MEP Estimation function. Experienced in preparing detailed cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems by analysing project specifications, drawings, and scope requirements. Skilled in coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for competitive quotations, maintaining cost databases, and collaborating with engineering and project management teams to support accurate budgeting and successful bidding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for various projects.
- Analyse project specifications,
blueprints, and proposals to determine the scope of work and required materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes for materials and services.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive database of costs and unit rates.
- Collaborate with the project management and engineering teams throughout the bidding process.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Years of experience - 1 to 3 Years.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel
