Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant – Fresher based in Mumbai. The role involves assisting in preparation and review of financial statements, maintaining books of accounts, and supporting statutory and tax audits under the guidance of senior team members. The Chartered Accountant will help with tax computations, compliance filings, and documentation for direct and indirect taxes. Daily responsibilities also include analyzing financial data, preparing working papers, and ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.



The role provides hands-on exposure to client interactions, internal reporting, and participation in various consulting assignments.

Qualifications

- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with up-to-date membership/registration as per regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (such as Ind AS/IGAAP), and financial statement preparation.
- Understanding of direct and indirect tax laws, basic tax planning, and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting and ERP software is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new regulations and methodologies, and take initiative on assigned tasks.
- Internship or articleship experience in audit, taxation, or finance during CA training will be beneficial.
