About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Technical Architect to own solution architecture and technical direction for SAP Commerce (Hybris) engagements, with a mobile-first edge. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise commerce platform design and native mobile commerce delivery — you'll be the technical anchor across integration, architecture, and design decisions for the SAP Commerce + mobile commerce stack, including iOS.

This is a shared architecture role spanning multiple engagements, so we need someone who can context-switch across projects, bring structure quickly, and mentor delivery teams without needing long ramp-up time. Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP Commerce (Hybris) implementations, from requirements through go-live.
- Set technical direction across engagements — architecture patterns, platform standards, and reusable frameworks.
- Design and oversee integrations between SAP Commerce and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, OMS, PIM, payment gateways, CDN/CDP, and mobile apps).
- Architect the mobile commerce layer, ensuring SAP Commerce APIs and services are cleanly consumed by native iOS applications.
- Define and review high- and low-level design documents, API contracts, and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security).
- Guide development teams on best practices for SAP Commerce customization, extension development,



and upgrade strategy.
- Partner with client stakeholders and delivery leads to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation across architecture, integration, and mobile delivery workstreams.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning conversations with architecture estimates and technical points of view, as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of overall technical experience, with a solid track record in SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris architecture and implementation.
- Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering mobile commerce solutions, including native iOS development or close technical ownership of iOS commerce apps.
- Deep understanding of SAP Commerce architecture: OCC APIs, WCMS, ImpEx, Backoffice, promotions/pricing engines, and the SAP Commerce data model.
- Hands-on experience designing integrations between SAP Commerce and enterprise systems (ERP such as SAP S/4HANA, OMS, PIM, payment and tax providers).
- Strong grasp of iOS development fundamentals (Swift/Objective-C, REST/GraphQL consumption, mobile security and performance patterns) sufficient to architect for and guide an iOS delivery team.
- Proven experience in a Technical Architect or similar solution architecture role, including HLD/LLD ownership and architecture governance.
