About the Role

Fairfield by Marriott Sriperumbudur is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales to lead the hotel's commercial strategy and revenue growth initiatives.

This leadership position is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through strategic business development, sales planning, key account management, and market penetration. The role requires solid collaboration with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to drive occupancy, enhance market share, and achieve overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue, occupancy, and market share.

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve business goals and performance targets.

• Manage and grow key corporate, group, and industry accounts.

• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.

• Monitor sales pipelines, prepare forecasts, and analyze performance metrics.

• Partner with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to optimize pricing and promotional initiatives.

• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and networking activities to generate new business.





• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements.

• Ensure adherence to Marriott brand standards while fostering a guest-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, business development, and account management, with a strong track record of achieving revenue targets.

• Experience in sales operations, including forecasting, reporting, pipeline management, and business planning.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.

• Hospitality or hotel sales experience preferred, ideally within a branded hotel environment.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant hospitality sales experience.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Tamil is preferred.
