About the Company
A Fortune 200 company is scaling its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India and has partnered with Flexiple to hire an IT Asset Manager for the technology operations team that tracks and governs its hardware and software estate across a workforce of several thousand. You will own the systems of record that finance, security, and audit all rely on. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As IT Asset Manager, you will run the lifecycle of every laptop, server, and software license the GCC owns, from procurement through retirement, and keep the asset register audit-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Asset Lifecycle
- Track devices from receipt and tagging through deployment, refresh, and secure disposal
- Run periodic physical audits and reconcile counts against the asset management system
- Coordinate with IT support and facilities on asset movement across sites
Software and License Compliance
- Maintain the software asset inventory and reconcile licenses against actual usage
- Track entitlements, renewals, and true-up obligations across major vendors
- Prepare the GCC for internal and vendor license audits
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4 to 8 years in IT asset management, IT procurement, or infrastructure operations
- Hands-on experience with an ITAM or CMDB platform such as ServiceNow or Flexera
- Working knowledge of major software licensing models and vendor contracts
- Explicit written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
- CHAMP, CSAM, or ITIL certification
- Experience supporting a GCC, shared-services centre, or large enterprise IT function
- Familiarity with SOX or ISO 27001 asset-control requirements
