Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Consultant with 6–8 years of functional consulting experience to support an end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The consultant will be responsible for business process understanding, requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration support, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support for Production Planning and Quality Management processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support SAP S/4HANA PP and QM workstreams during end-to-end implementation projects.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops with business users and translate business needs into SAP solution designs.
- Configure SAP PP processes including master data, demand management, MRP, production orders, process orders, capacity planning, shop floor execution, and manufacturing integration.
- Configure SAP QM processes including inspection planning, quality inspection, results recording, usage decision, quality notifications, certificates, and integration with procurement, production, and sales.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and custom developments.
- Collaborate with technical teams, integration consultants, business stakeholders, and project managers to deliver scalable and robust SAP solutions.
- Support data migration activities including master data cleansing, mapping, validation, and migration testing for PP/QM objects.
- Prepare and execute unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing scenarios.
- Support cutover planning, go-live execution, hypercare,



defect resolution, and business stabilization activities.
- Provide process guidance, user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business teams.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP PP and QM modules.
- At least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation experience is preferred; strong ECC to S/4HANA migration exposure will also be considered.
- Robust knowledge of manufacturing business processes such as discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing, production execution, and quality inspection.
- Good understanding of integration points with SAP MM, SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, PM, and other related modules.
- Hands-on configuration experience in production planning, master data, MRP, routing, BOM, work centers, production versions, inspection plans, inspection lots, quality notifications, and usage decisions.
- Ability to prepare business process documents, configuration documents, functional specifications, test scripts, training material, and cutover documents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently with business users and cross-functional project teams in a fast-paced implementation environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA best practices, fit-to-standard workshops, and activate methodology.
- Knowledge of Fiori applications relevant to SAP PP and QM processes.
- Exposure to manufacturing analytics, embedded reporting, and business process optimization.
- Experience in working with global teams, offshore-onsite models, and multi-country implementation programs.
- Basic understanding of interfaces with MES, LIMS, third-party planning tools, or shop floor systems.
- SAP certification in PP, QM, or S/4HANA Manufacturing will be an added advantage.
