Owns category strategies, leads advanced negotiations, and influences enterprise stakeholders to deliver long-term value, innovation, and supply resilience. **Job Requirements** + Driving advanced supplier negotiations and complex contracting strategies. + Embedding compliance, regulatory, and sustainability requirements into sourcing and contracting decisions. + Leading enterprise or multi-region category strategies across direct and indirect spend. + Partnering with engineering and business leaders to enable early supplier involvement and innovation. + Evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring governance adherence. + Identifying and mitigating supply, cost, and geopolitical risks through proactive sourcing strategies. **What your background should look like** + 10 years' Experience working in a global/region commodity role in a multinational company. + 5 years of Optical related + Ability to understand global markets, collaborate effectively with global teams, and experience in working with suppliers in the Asia-Pacific region and Global + Understanding of optical transceivers, optical components, CPO, optics passive fiber connectivity, Silicon photonics, Lasers (EML, Vcsel etc) and fiber interfaces + optical transmission, optical jumpers,Components used in AI/accelerated computing interconnects.
