Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who can own the quality strategy, define testing standards, and ensure high reliability for a high-traffic enterprise website. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure seamless releases and high-quality deliverables. This position also involves mentoring QA teams and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own QA activities for .NET APIs, payment services, finance applications, and Zuora integrations from requirements review through production release.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, identify gaps and risks, and translate them into transparent test strategies, test plans, scenarios, test cases, and traceability coverage.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end testing across APIs and connected finance platforms.
- Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman, including request and response payloads, HTTP status codes, headers, authentication, authorization, error handling, schema validation, and backward compatibility.
- Test payment and billing workflows such as authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, credits, cancellations, retries, failed transactions, duplicate prevention, idempotency, and exception handling.
- Verify webhooks, asynchronous processing, scheduled jobs, queues, callbacks, and cross-system data propagation, including retry and recovery scenarios.
- Perform database and data validation using SQL to confirm transaction integrity, field mapping, calculations, audit trails, and reconciliation between source and downstream systems.
- Design negative,



boundary, concurrency, security-oriented, and failure-recovery test scenarios for financially sensitive services.
- Create and maintain reusable test data and test documentation while protecting sensitive financial and customer information.
- Log high-quality defects with reproducible steps, evidence, impact, and severity; partner with developers on troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and verification of fixes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong expertise in manual testing, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
- Strong experience in API testing, preferably using Postman or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management.
- Experience testing enterprise, SaaS, and integration-heavy applications.
- Experience with database/data validation and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have / Plus:

- Automation Scripting : Experience writing or maintaining automation scripts using tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar technologies would be a plus.
- UI & API Automation : Exposure to automated testing at the UI and/or API level and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines would be advantageous.
- Performance Testing : Hands-on experience with performance, load, or stress testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools would be a plus.
- Performance Analysis : Understanding of application/API performance metrics, response times, throughput, bottleneck identification, and performance test result analysis would be beneficial.
