Position Job Title: IT Global Applications Delivery – Applications Specialist - SAP Supply Chain

Job Purpose

The SAP Supply Chain Application Specialist is responsible for supporting existing SAP applications and templates.

The role combines application support, incident resolution, business consulting and solution delivery, ensuring reliable SAP operations and value delivery through projects, changes and continuous improvement activities.

Perform the assigned activities to fulfil the business requirements in project delivery in the domain of SAP:

EDI, including the support, enhancement and delivery of EDI-related requirements across SAP Supply Chain processes

MM/LES (Purchasing, inventory management, warehouse management, Handling Unit Management).

SD (Sales, shipping, invoicing, pricing, credit management, consignment)

Deliver Projects, Changes and Issue resolution according to the business priorities.

Job Dimensions & Scope

Small to Medium complexity Project delivery

Supporting 5 SAP Templates across 30+ Sites and 17 Countries

SAP Template's maintenance and evolutions

Provide support, up to L3, for corrections to issues raised by Helpdesk or Business Support teams.

Principal Accountabilities

Project management

Solution being implemented on time in full in budget.

Adjusted site organisation to be owned locally and aligned to AFEMA roles.

Leads document process map and roll-out kit.

Accountable to follow the Amcor defined project methodology.

Existing Instances Support (Business Applications)

Process key-user requests or issues: specification of new developments or customizing, update or proposal of user working instruction, guidelines on the day-to-day use of the solution.

Create transport requests in development and follow the issue till the closing of the request from the user.

Animate information sharing across sites to take advantages of the SAP usage to avoid duplicated development and study.

Business process advice on best practice and template gate keeping.

Responsibility to follow governance and manage own tickets in Service Now portal

Methodological compliance

Ensures project methodology (industrial approach) is understood, applied, and optimised continuously.

Continuous improvement of the roll-out kit for own domain

Major Challenges & Complexities

Introduce / reinforce standardised work i.e.,



develop and deploy standard processes, KPIs, governance.

Complex business environment i.e., with regular changes to the scope (Mergers & Acquisitions), different stakeholder goals, global and local approaches

Distributed team with vastly different skill sets and customer culture / approach.

Multi-tasking and setting priorities i.e., ensuring the priorities are aligned and respected across the BU.

Qualifications/Requirements

Good organisational and interpersonal skills.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Fluent English.

Good knowledge of industrial site processes (manufacturing, packaging, make-to-order, make-to-stock).

Experienced in global SAP projects.

Good practice of office and planning PC tools.

Requirements modelling and need analysis techniques.

Software developments methods and their rationale (e.g., prototyping, etc.)

Metrics related to projects, application development and incident resolution.

User interface design principles

Formalising functional specification

Training needs analysis methodologies

Techniques, infrastructure, and tools to be used in the testing process.

Skills and experience from a manufacturing company will be an advantage.

Job Specific Requirements

Experienced in SAP EDI (minimum 5 years)

Knowledge of SD, MM, LE, WM

Experienced several SAP implementations in various industries.

5+ years of work experience in IT, including Software Development (SDLC) and Project Management experience
