Role Description

The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for driving growth and expanding the client base for W Design Studio. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, developing and nurturing client relationships, and building a strong pipeline of projects across corporate, residential, retail, and hospitality sectors. The role involves preparing and delivering business proposals and presentations, collaborating closely with design and project teams to align solutions with client needs, and participating in networking events, industry forums, and client meetings.



The Business Development Manager will monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategy, while maintaining accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales performance. The position also requires coordinating with marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and support business growth initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Experience in market research, opportunity identification, and strategic planning within architecture, interior design, real estate, or related sectors.
- Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and presentation, including the ability to articulate design value propositions to diverse stakeholders.
- Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple prospects and timelines, and work independently with accountability for results.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting to track pipelines, conversions, and revenue targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in business development or sales roles in design, consulting, or professional services, preferably in the Hyderabad or broader Indian market.
- Comfort with on-site client interactions, site visits, and travel within the region as required.
