Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced COCO Operations Head to lead end-to-end operations of the company's Company-Owned Company-Operated (COCO) generic pharmacy stores. The role will be responsible for driving store sales, profitability, operational excellence, inventory efficiency, customer experience and team performance across the retail network.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end operations and performance of all COCO pharmacy stores.
- Drive sales, revenue, profitability and same-store growth across the network.
- Set and monitor store-wise KPIs, targets, productivity and operating metrics.
- Ensure effective inventory planning, stock availability, expiry control and working-capital management.
- Maintain optimum inventory turns and reduce stock-outs, dead stock and expiry losses.
- Lead recruitment, training, performance management and productivity of Store Managers, Pharmacists and retail teams.
- Establish and implement SOPs, operational standards and compliance processes across all stores.




- Ensure adherence to pharmacy regulations, drug licensing, billing and statutory requirements.
- Improve customer experience, prescription conversion, repeat business and average basket value.
- Conduct regular store audits, performance reviews and operational inspections.
- Identify underperforming stores and implement corrective action plans.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, HR, Marketing and Business Development teams.
- Support new store openings, location readiness and operational setup.
- Prepare and present MIS, business reviews and performance dashboards to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency, store productivity and profitability.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 10–18 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy / Generic Pharmacy / Healthcare Retail / FMCG Retail.
- Strong experience managing multiple company-owned retail stores / COCO operations.
- Should have managed a large multi-location retail network.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, sales, inventory, manpower and store operations.
- Candidates from Davaindia, Apollo Pharmacy, MedPlus, Wellness Forever, Guardian Pharmacy, Health & Glow or similar organized retail chains can be considered.
- Robust leadership, analytical, commercial and team-management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across locations.
