Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate and seasoned Technical Lead - Engineering to drive our development team in Noida. In this role, you will take complete ownership and accountability for the design, development, and timely delivery of enterprise-class software solutions for global pharmaceutical companies.

You will lead a high-performing team of 4 to 8 engineers, championing modern full-stack architectures, microservices, and cutting-edge engineering practices—including the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4–8 engineers, overseeing hiring, annual appraisals, career development, and technical capability building.

- Architecture & Design: Drive the design and development of scalable, secure, and highly available microservices-based applications.

- Sprint & Delivery Execution: Collaborate with Product Owners and architects to plan, prioritize, and monitor sprints, ensuring strict adherence to release schedules and high-quality software output.

- Hands-on Technical Guidance: Conduct rigorous design and code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical roadblocks, and provide direct hands-on support.

- Engineering Standards & AI Adoption: Enforce best practices across coding standards, unit testing,



and documentation while promoting the safe, practical integration of AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Amazon Q Developer).

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Managers, Test Managers, and database/QA teams to deliver technical Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and feature releases within an Agile framework.

Technical Stack & Competencies

- Backend / Core: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Groovy, Grails

- Frontend: Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery

- Messaging & Caching: Apache Kafka, Redis, Hazelcast

- Databases: MySQL, Oracle

- Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Git, Jenkins, Nginx

- Collaboration & Tracking: Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum methodologies

- AI-Assisted Tools: Practical knowledge and governance of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Amazon Q Developer)

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA from a recognized institution with a strong academic background.

- Total Experience: 6 to 10 years of full-stack programming and engineering experience, featuring robust expertise in Java-based frameworks and Angular.

- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated history of managing and leading engineering teams of 4–8 members in fast-paced Agile environments.

- Domain Advantage: Prior working exposure within the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical domain is highly preferred.

Work Model: 5 Days / Week — 100% Work from Office (Mandatory)
