Purchase Manager – IT Infrastructure & Procurement

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities for IT infrastructure and technology solutions. The role involves sourcing IT products, managing vendor and OEM relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring timely procurement and delivery.

Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities
- Source IT products, hardware, software, and technology solutions from OEMs, distributors, and vendors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and suppliers
- Obtain and evaluate quotations; negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines
- Compare vendor quotations and prepare commercial comparisons
- Coordinate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Technical, Finance, and Delivery teams for procurement requirements
- Issue and manage Purchase Orders and maintain procurement documentation
- Monitor order status, deliveries, and vendor commitments
- Resolve issues related to pricing, availability, delivery delays, and vendor coordination




- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable commercial terms
- Maintain vendor databases, purchase records, and procurement reports
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and approval procedures
- Build and manage a reliable vendor and supplier network

Qualifications

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in IT Infrastructure or System Integration
- Strong experience working with OEMs, distributors, and IT product vendors
- Knowledge of IT products such as Servers, Storage, Networking, Security, Data Center, and Cloud solutions
- Experience in quotation comparison, commercial negotiation, Purchase Orders, and order management
- Valuable understanding of procurement processes and supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office

Candidate Profile

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Currently employed and based in Delhi-NCR
- Prior experience in the IT System Integration (SI) industry preferred
