About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern who can turn raw footage and ideas into engaging, platform-ready content.

You’ll work closely with the content and creative team to edit Reels, short-form videos, LinkedIn content, promotional videos, and brand storytelling content. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys experimenting with editing styles, understands social media trends, and wants hands-on experience working on real brand projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn videos, YouTube Shorts and other social media content.

- Transform raw footage into engaging and visually appealing videos.

- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, music, sound effects and basic motion graphics.

- Create videos aligned with the brand's tone, visual identity and content strategy.

- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form videos.

- Keep up with current social media video trends, formats and editing styles.

- Collaborate with the content and social media team to understand creative requirements.

- Organise raw footage, project files, assets and final exports systematically.

- Make revisions based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of assigned projects.

- Experiment with new editing techniques, hooks, transitions and storytelling formats.

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of video editing.

- Familiarity with tools such as CapCut,



Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Filmora, After Effects or similar software.

- Good understanding of Reels, Shorts and social media content formats.

- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling and visual composition.

- Ability to select suitable music, B-roll, transitions and visual elements.

- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- A creative mindset and curiosity to experiment.

Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.

- Understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube content.

- Experience creating personal branding or founder-led content.

- Knowledge of trending sounds, hooks and short-form storytelling.

- Basic understanding of colour correction and audio editing.

- A portfolio, college project or sample edits.
