- Perform installation, upgrade and migration of SQL Server instances.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues including deadlocks, blocking and performance bottlenecks.
- Configure and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g. Always On, Log Shipping, replication, mirroring, etc.).
- Execute change requests, schema updates and deployment activities across environments.
- Monitor and optimize database performance using indexing, query tuning and statistics updates.
- Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Document procedures, configurations and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in bridge calls for P1/P2 incidents and provide RCA documentation.
- Providing evidences for audit purpose.
- Certificate renewal on cluster environment.
- Knowledge on 3rd party tools (SNOW, Foglight, AppD, Splunk, DDBoost, control-M, Windows Perfmon/Various SSRS reports/FRK/SSRS reports in 700/UAR) & Capacity planning for both prod & non- prod setting.
- Basic understanding on Windows OS Administration, DNS, AD & networking concepts.
- Basic understanding on T-SQL, Powershell scripting.
