Job Description – Manager / Assistant Manager – Placements & Corporate RelationsLocations: Delhi | Pune | Hyderabad | BangaloreExperience: 4–8 YearsCTC: Up to ₹10 LPAJoining: Immediate Joiners / Candidates with a maximum notice period of 15 daysAbout the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Placements / Corporate Relations professional to drive corporate engagement, placement opportunities, and industry partnerships for our MBA/PGDM students.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in campus placements, corporate relations, employer engagement, and business development, with an established network across corporates, SMEs, startups, consulting firms, BFSI, IT/ITES, FMCG, manufacturing, and other relevant sectors.The role will involve building and managing long-term relationships with companies, understanding their talent requirements, and converting these relationships into meaningful placement and internship opportunities for MBA/PGDM students.Key Responsibilities1. Corporate Relations & Employer EngagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with corporates, SMEs, startups, MNCs, and recruitment firms.Identify and onboard recent companies for campus placements and internship opportunities.Build a strong employer database across multiple industries and functions.Engage with HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Heads, Business Leaders, Founders, and senior decision-makers.Conduct regular corporate outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, meetings, networking events, and industry connects.Understand current and future hiring requirements of companies and align them with student profiles.2. Campus PlacementsDrive the end-to-end placement process for MBA/PGDM students.Develop placement strategies based on student specialization, skills, experience, and industry requirements.Coordinate with companies for JD sharing, candidate shortlisting, assessments, interviews,
and final selections.Manage campus recruitment drives, pool hiring, walk-ins, virtual drives, and off-campus opportunities.Track placement pipeline, offers, joining status, compensation, and employer-wise hiring data.Ensure achievement of placement targets within defined timelines.3. Corporate Tie-ups & Business DevelopmentIdentify opportunities for long-term corporate partnerships and institutional tie-ups.Build relationships with companies for placements, internships, live projects, guest lectures, industry visits, and other corporate engagement initiatives.Explore new industries and geographies to expand the institute's corporate network.Convert corporate relationships into recurring hiring partnerships.4. Student–Industry AlignmentWork closely with academic and student teams to understand the talent pool available.Communicate industry expectations and hiring trends to internal stakeholders.Support students in becoming placement-ready based on current market requirements.Identify skill gaps based on corporate feedback and recommend relevant interventions.5. MIS & ReportingMaintain accurate records of corporate interactions, leads, meetings, interviews, offers, and placements.Prepare regular placement dashboards and reports for management.Track key metrics such as:Number of companies engagedNew corporate partnershipsPlacement drives conductedStudents shortlisted/interviewed/selectedPlacement conversion ratioAverage & highest CTCRepeat corporate hiringInternship conversionsCandidate ProfileWe are looking for candidates who have:4–8 years of relevant experience in Placements, Corporate Relations,
