Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Contractor

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | 5+ Years | Senior Level | Contractor

We are looking for a Senior QA / Test Automation Engineer to join our Product Engineering & Technology (PET) team and take ownership of automated testing for high-assurance, real-time digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and build automated Unit, Integration, API, System & E2E testing.
- Develop automation frameworks using Python (PyTest/Robot Framework) or Go.
- Test FastAPI backends and Vue.js frontends using Selenium/Playwright.
- Validate REST APIs, WebSockets, gRPC, distributed systems and real-time data synchronization.
- Test across GCP, Docker, Kubernetes and on-premises infrastructure.
- Integrate automated testing into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply OWASP, SSDLC, SAST/DAST and application security practices.




- Investigate complex defects and establish automated quality gates.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of hands-on QA/Test Automation experience.
- Robust Python or Go skills.
- Experience with PyTest/Robot Framework, Selenium/Playwright.
- Strong API, backend and distributed-system testing experience.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, GCP and GitLab CI/CD.
- Understanding of OWASP, SSDLC and application security.
- Experience with high-availability, security-sensitive or mission-critical systems is highly desirable.
