Sikich is seeking an Audit Senior Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The candidate must have experience in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement review. The candidate will be overseeing and executing financial statement audits, guiding assigned staff in their tasks, ensuring compliance with US GAAP

What will you do in this role?

- Perform audit procedures related to clients' financial statements.
- Supervise assigned staff in executing the audit approach and perform a first level review of staff assigned work.
- Have a clear understanding of the importance of the work being completed and how it contributes to the audit overall.
- Research accounting & auditing matters and document conclusions.
- Complete audit procedures that obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence with a focus on quality and in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
- Utilize innovation tools to assess client data.
- Exercise and document the approach to professional skepticism including robust challenge, consideration of alternatives and disconfirming evidence.
- Provide excellent timely client service, deliver high quality work and strengthen client relationships.
- Keep senior team members informed of significant developments and progress on the engagement.
- Complete tasks and deliverables to a high-quality standard as part of client engagements - working to an agreed plan, budget, and quality.




- Escalate risks and issues beyond own experience or skill set.
- Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting framework (IFRS), related financial

1. reporting matters and auditing standards (ISA).

- Prepare audit reports and statements for review for Managers/ Senior Managers.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

- B.Com, M.Com, Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience. CA/CPA is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
- Organizational skills to provide client reports within scheduled time frames.
- Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good written business language with fluent in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible and can work under pressure.
