Role: Chief of StaffLocation: ChennaiReporting to: Managing DirectorClient: Leading Multi-use Retail and Residential Infrastructure Complex Role SummaryThe Chief of Staff will act as a strategic partner to the MD, Board and leadership team, driving execution excellence, operational alignment, business transformation, and cross-functional coordination across the retail and entertainment complex. The role requires a highly driven business leader with strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management capability, and the ability to lead strategic initiatives while ensuring seamless coordination between finance, operations, leasing, marketing, and customer experience teams. The role requires thought leadership in motivating a group of senior leaders, energising the company to be goal-driven to become one of the 'Excellent Places to Work'.Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with Leaders across finance, leasing, operations, marketing, and HR teams
- Adjudicate inter-departmental issues and protect the time of MD
- Track business performance, KPIs, and leadership action plans




- Partner with leasing and Marketing teams on occupancy and revenue enhancement initiatives
- Participate and enable digital transformation and strategic business projects
- Manage key stakeholder relationships including tenants, vendors, and consultants
- Support leadership in building a high-performance organizational culture

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 15 to 25 years of experience in Chief of Staff, Strategy, Operations, or CEO's Office roles
- Experience in malls, airports, hospitality, retail infrastructure, or mixed-use developments preferred
- Strong exposure to business operations, strategic planning, and cross-functional management
- Experience driving transformation, change management, process improvement, and business excellence initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and execution capabilities
- MBA / CA / Engineering or equivalent professional qualification preferred
