About the Role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist with 3+ years of experience to help protect our systems, networks, applications, and data from security threats. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and cybersecurity tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts, logs, and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Implement and maintain security controls across systems, networks, and applications.
- Perform security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance checks.
- Manage and monitor endpoint security, firewalls, antivirus/EDR, and other security solutions.
- Assist with access control, identity management, and privileged access reviews.
- Maintain security documentation, incident reports,



and remediation records.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to improve the organization's overall security posture.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically securing and managing websites or web applications.
- Good understanding of network security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, or IDS/IPS.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux security.
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common cybersecurity threats.
- Basic knowledge of IAM, MFA, encryption, and security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure/AWS security is an advantage.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls is a plus.
