Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser specializing in high fashion party wear. The ideal candidate will manage the entire merchandising lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution from product development to final shipment. This role requires a strong understanding of garment production, sourcing, and buyer management, with a proven ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete merchandising cycle, from product development to final shipment.
- Handle costing, sampling, sourcing, and order execution.
- Coordinate closely with buyers, vendors, and production teams.
- Ensure quality standards, production timelines, and on-time deliveries.
- Track orders, resolve issues proactively, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with design and sales teams to align product offerings with market trends and buyer requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable terms.

- Proficient in merchandising software and tools.




- Strong understanding of garment production processes and materials.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in high fashion apparel, specifically party wear.
- Experience working with a buying house is mandatory.

Education

- A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
