The candidate must have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data modelling, SQL, and enterprise data integration.This is a client-facing role that requires excellent technical knowledge, professional maturity, and the ability to clearly explain complex data and reporting concepts in English. The selected candidate will also guide junior developers and contribute to the overall Power BI solution architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs,



and business calculations.Build and optimise data models using star and snowflake schema designs.Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and integration using Power Query and M Language.Connect Power BI with enterprise data sources, including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, APIs, Excel, and SharePoint.Optimise dashboard performance and troubleshoot data, refresh, and reporting issues.Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and support Object-Level Security (OLS).Configure and manage Power BI Service workspaces, datasets, gateways, refresh schedules, and access permissions.Work directly with clients and business stakeholders to understand and translate reporting requirements into effective BI solutions.Handle client meetings, requirement discussions, demonstrations, and technical presentations in English.Mentor junior developers and review their dashboards, data models, and DAX implementations.Contribute to Power BI governance, development standards, documentation, and overall solution architecture.Required Technical Skills5–10 years of overall experience, with strong hands-on experience in Power BI development.Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.Strong working knowledge of DAX queries, measures, functions, and optimisation techniques.Advanced experience with Power Query and M Language.Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modelling, and database concepts.Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle,



PostgreSQL, or similar databases.Solid understanding of ETL processes, data transformation, and performance tuning.Experience implementing Row-Level Security and managing Power BI Service workspaces.Working knowledge of Object-Level Security in Power BI.Experience with Incremental Refresh and Incremental Load.Hands-on experience managing large datasets of 4 GB or more in Power BI and Power Query.Strong experience in report, query, data-model, and refresh-performance optimisation.Exposure to big-data platforms such as Databricks.Familiarity with APIs, Excel, SharePoint, and other enterprise data sources.Familiarity with Power BI MCP Server and AI-powered features such as Copilot and natural-language querying will be an advantage.Communication and Professional SkillsOutstanding written and spoken English communication skills.Ability to communicate independently with domestic and international clients.Ability to understand business requirements and explain technical solutions clearly.Strong presentation, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage responsibilities independently in a remote-working environment.Strong ownership, professionalism, and attention to detail.Ability to mentor team members and coordinate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Selection ProcessThe recruitment process will include:Education and profile screening.English communication assessment.Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data-modelling technical interview.Practical Power BI assignment or live technical assessment.Client-facing communication and final interview.Important: The required technical educational qualification and exceptional English communication skills are strict, non-negotiable selection criteria.
