Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Annotation Engineer with hands-on experience in image and video annotation to support AI/ML initiatives in the defense and military domain.

The role involves annotating and organizing image/video datasets used for training and validating machine learning models, evaluating model performance, and supporting field-based data collection activities. The position requires significant time at the client location and frequent travel to various locations for data gathering.

Key Responsibilities

Image & Video Data Annotation
- Accurately annotate and label image/video datasets based on project and defense-domain requirements.
- Ensure annotation accuracy, consistency, and adherence to defined guidelines.
- Organize, categorize, and maintain large datasets for ML model training and testing.




- Maintain proper records and ensure data integrity throughout the annotation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to understand annotation requirements.

Model Evaluation & Quality
- Evaluate ML/AI model performance using annotated datasets.
- Analyze annotation quality and identify inconsistencies or errors.
- Provide feedback to Data Science and ML teams on annotation quality and its impact on model performance.
- Support continuous improvement of annotation processes and guidelines.

Data Collection & Field Activities
- Plan and execute data collection activities based on project requirements.
- Travel to various field locations for on-site image/video data collection.
- Coordinate with client and on-ground teams to ensure smooth and reliable data collection.
- Maintain proper documentation of field data and collection activities.
