Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Software Asset Management
License Analyst
in the
Vendor Management Office.
The Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing software and vendor licenses. This position is responsible for tracking, optimizing, and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, ensuring the organization is operating within the terms of its software licenses and contracts.



The License Analyst will work closely with the procurement, legal, IT, and finance teams to maintain accurate records, audit compliance, and facilitate vendor negotiations. The candidate must be willing to work on site 4 days a week in Hyderabad, during US EST time zone.

Key Responsibilities
License Entitlement Management
- Maintain accurate records of software entitlements (contracts, purchases, and license keys).
- Upload and validate license data in SAM tools and license repositories.
- Normalize software titles and standardize license records.

Software Discovery & Usage Monitoring
- Analyze data from discovery tools (e.g., SCCM, Flexera, Snow) to understand actual software deployments.
- Reconcile deployment data against entitlements to determine compliance position.

Software Asset Optimization:
- Analyze software usage trends and provide recommendations for cost optimization or consolidation of licenses.
- Identify opportunities for lever
