Job Role: Railway Signalling Engineer - Dashboard Development & Testing
Experience: 8–12 Years
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and test railway signalling and dashboard solutions.
- Lead system engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
- Define system architecture, functional requirements, and interface specifications.
- Perform system decomposition, interface analysis, and end-to-end system design.
- Execute
Verification & Validation (V&V;)
activities for safety-critical systems.
- Support
RAMS
activities and ensure compliance with railway safety standards.
- Perform dashboard testing, defect analysis, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, test documentation, and validation reports.
- Work closely with Software, Hardware, Testing, and Integration teams.
- Participate in technical reviews and customer discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex projects.
Key Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in
Railway Signalling, Dashboard Development, and Testing
.
- Strong knowledge of
CBTC, ETCS, ATP, and ATO
.
- Hands-on experience with
Railway Dashboard Systems
.
- Strong experience in
System Verification & Validation (V&V;)
.
- Good understanding of
RAMS engineering
.
- Robust knowledge of
EN 50128
and railway software safety standards.
- Experience with SDLC and software development methodologies.
- Good understanding of software testing techniques and validation processes.
- Experience with
IBM DOORS, Polarion, Jira, and Git
.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
