We are looking for a motivated and confident Student Admission Counselor to join our education consultancy team. The role involves connecting with students and parents, understanding their academic and career goals, recommending suitable university programs, and helping them through the complete admission process.
You will work closely with students interested in undergraduate, postgraduate, and online degree programs offered by leading universities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming student leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and admission requirements.
- Counsel students and recommend suitable universities and programs.
- Explain course structure, eligibility, fees, scholarships, admission process, and career opportunities.
- Regularly follow up with prospective students and parents.
- Maintain accurate lead and student information in the CRM.
- Convert qualified prospects into successful applications and enrollments.
- Coordinate with university admission teams for applications and documentation.
- Assist students with document collection and application submission.
- Track application and payment status until final enrollment.
- Maintain daily follow-up and conversion records.
- Achieve assigned admission and enrollment targets.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in speaking with students and parents.
- Good Hindi and English communication skills.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and follow-up abilities.
- Comfortable working with targets.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Previous experience in education counseling, inside sales, telecalling, admissions, or customer relationship management is preferred.
- Freshers with solid communication and sales skills can also apply.
