Position: Night Manager
Department: Front Office / Operations
Reports To: Resort Manager / General Manager

Job Summary

The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel/resort operations during the night shift and ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of guests and employees. The role involves supervising night operations, handling guest concerns and emergencies, coordinating with departments, monitoring security, and ensuring a smooth handover to the morning team.

Key Responsibilities1. Night Operations
- Oversee and manage all resort operations during the night shift.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, and other operational departments.
- Conduct regular rounds of the property to monitor operations and guest areas.
- Ensure all night shift employees are present, properly groomed, and performing their duties effectively.
- Act as the Manager on Duty during the assigned shift.

2. Guest Service
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and emergencies professionally and promptly.




- Ensure VIP guests and special requests are attended to as per resort standards.
- Monitor guest arrivals, departures, and any late-night requirements.
- Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction throughout the night.

3. Safety and Security
- Coordinate closely with the Security team to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and resort property.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, accidents, fire alarms, medical situations, or security incidents.
- Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Report any unusual incidents to the Resort Manager/General Manager.

4. Financial and Administrative Responsibilities
- Verify daily reports, cash handling, billing, and other night audit activities, where applicable.
- Ensure proper handover of significant information, pending issues, and operational requirements to the morning team.
