About the Position

Anchor Container Services is looking for a Design Engineer with solid knowledge of Design, Estimation, Costing, BOQ, and Tendering.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in handling project requirements, technical design, estimation, costing, quotation preparation, and tender submission.

Candidates with relevant experience in prefabricated, modular, portable building, project-based manufacturing, construction, water/wastewater treatment, or related industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering
- Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and technical drawings.




- Prepare and modify designs according to project requirements.
- Study customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, purchase, site, and management teams.

Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed project estimates and costing.
- Prepare BOQ and material quantity calculations.
- Calculate material, labour, fabrication, transportation, installation, and other project-related costs.
- Prepare rate analysis and evaluate material/vendor rates.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations.

Tendering
- Handle tender-related activities from enquiry to submission.
- Study tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQ, and commercial requirements.
- Prepare technical and commercial tender documents.
- Coordinate internally for technical and commercial information.
- Ensure tender documents are complete and submitted within deadlines.
- Maintain records of quotations and submitted
