Overview Of The Specialist, Software Engineering
BETA is a self-clearing securities processing solution for wealth management firms. Built on years of expert knowledge and hands-on experience, BETA provides critical back-office controls including corporate action management, middle office exception management, and front office account management and trading tools for advisors.

We are in search of a Specialist,



Software Engineering with hands-on experience in client/server and cloud hosted solutions. In this role, you will primarily work with PowerBuilder and GitLab for repository and CI/CD. As a Specialist, you will be responsible for architecting recent features, developing features from scratch, refactoring existing code, reviewing code and design, enforcing secure coding practices, and overseeing developer architecture and code changes through to completion in a live production environment.

Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team composed of developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and DevOps professionals who work collaboratively to support multiple concurrent projects.
