Responsibilities: - You will be working with the technical team to build our suite of data collection devices. - The challenges that need to be solved are quite novel in this space, so a large amount of foundational work will fall under your purview, including but not limited to specification validation, system design, and system validation. Requirements: - The Pragmatic Builder: You care more about getting reliable data today than building the perfect architecture for five years from now. You know when to duct-tape a dev board together to prove a concept and when to design a custom PCB to ensure reliability. - Hardware-Software Bilingual: You don't throw problems over the fence. If the software is acting up, you are comfortable probing the I2C lines or checking the power rails to prove whether it's a firmware bug or a hardware ghost. - Egoless Engineering: You are happy to use a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution if it saves the company three months of runway. You don't suffer from "Not Invented Here" syndrome. - Systems Thinker:
