The organisation

WEC Lines is a agile medium-sized maritime transport organisation specialising in container transport. Our services focus primarily on the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, the Canary Islands and North and East Africa. Our head office is located in Rotterdam. We also have offices in Hamburg, Le Havre, Antwerp, Barcelona,



Nairobi and Mombasa, among others.

For our head office in Rotterdam, we are looking for a Business Applications & Data Specialist.

The role

The Business Applications & Data Specialist is responsible for the management, continuous development and optimisation of the organisation’s core software platforms. In this role, you act as the link between the business, end users, software suppliers and data, ensuring that our software solutions fully support business processes.

In addition, you are responsible for managing and developing data solutions, Power BI reporting and system integrations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external software partners, you continuously contribute to improving, digitalising and future-proofing the organisation.
